- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup oleo
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 cup pecans, chopped
- 4 cups apples, cubed
Directions

1Cut apples in cubes, sprinkle with lemon juice to keep from discoloring and mix with 1 cup sugar to make liquid for cake.

2Set aside.

3Cream eggs, butter and remaining sugar.

4Add dry ingredients, and pecans.

5Add the cubed apple mixture.

6Bake in greased floured bundt pan at 350 degrees approximately 1 hour (longer if necessary) until done or inserted toothpick comes out clean.

7May be eaten warm, or cooled and served with ice cream, if desired.
