Ingredients
- 3 c. sifted plain flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. oil
- 3 c. peeled raw cubed apples
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/8 c. milk
Directions

1Beat eggs, add sugar and oil.

2Sift flour with salt and soda. Use a little flour to coat nuts and apples.

3Beat remaining flours into egg mixture.

4Add vanilla.

5Add apples and nuts.

6Stir well. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.

7Place in cold oven. Bake at 275° for 10 minutes.

8Turn oven to 350° and bake 1 hour. Cook oleo, brown sugar and milk to boiling.

9Turn out cake.

10Pour glaze over warm cake.
