  • 1 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. black walnuts or pecans, chopped
  • 3 c. chopped, peeled Golden Delicious apples
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. plain flour

Directions

    Combine ingredients together, adding the cooking oil last. Stir until mixture has consistency of cookie dough.

    Spread mixture into a 9 x 12-inch pan which is greased and floured.

    Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.
