Fresh Blueberry Pie

  • 1 9 inch pie shell, baked
  • 4 c. fresh blueberries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Place 2 cups blueberries in pie shell.

    Cook remaining berries with sugar, cornstarch, salt and water over medium heat until thickened.

    Remove from heat.

    Add butter and cool.
  5. 5
    Pour over berries in pie shell and chill.

    Top with whipped cream.

    It seems easier to heat the sugar, cornstarch and water before you put the berries in to cook.
