- 1 c. sugar
- 3 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 c. fresh blueberries
- 1 cooked 8 or 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients in a large saucepan and stir to mix well.

2Add the water and stir to dissolve the cornstarch.

3Add 1 cup berries and cook, stirring constantly over moderate heat, until the sauce is thickened and clear.

4Add lemon juice and stir well to mix and cool slightly.

5Add 3 cups of fresh berries. Gently transfer the filling to the prepared pie shell.

6Chill thoroughly before serving.
