- 2 cups Flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 3/4 cups Milk
- 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Or Canola Oil
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Fresh Cranberries
- 1 pinch Raw Sugar, For Topping

1Grease a 9- by 5-inch loaf pan. Adjust oven rack to lower-middle position and heat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.

3Meanwhile combine egg, milk and oil in a small bowl. Beat in the sugars. Add dry mixture into the wet ingredients and combine thoroughly. Gently stir in cranberries.

4Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle the top of the loaf with raw sugar. Bake until golden brown and a cake tester comes out clean, about 55 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes in the pan. Run a knife around pan to loosen the bread. Turn bread onto a wire rack to cool completely.
