- 8 ears corn
- 2 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. light cream
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Cut corn off cob.

2Cook bacon until crisp in skillet over medium fire.

3Remove and crumble.

4Reserving drippings.

5Add corn, sugar, milk, salt and pepper to reserved drippings.

6Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7Combine cream and flour in jar; shake until blended.

8Stir into corn mixture.

9Add margarine; cook, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
