  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 cups peaches
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts toasted, or pecans

Directions

    Heat the butter in a skillet over moderate heat and stir in the brown sugar until dissolved.

    Add the fruit and cinnamon and saute just until the fruit begins to soften, about 3 minutes.

    Spoon over scoops of vanilla ice cream and top with toasted nuts.
