  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/2 c. firm, ripe mango slices
  • 1 (10-inch) unbaked pie shell and top crust
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Dissolve cornstarch in heavy cream and stir in remaining ingredients.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell and top with crust or lattice.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Then reduce heat to 350° and bake for 50 minutes.
