- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix
- 2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 10 slices bacon
- 3 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion
- 2/3 c. giblet broth (more if desired)
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
Directions

1Prepare corn bread, using package directions.

2Cool and crumble.

3Toss in large bowl with bread cubes; set aside.

4Cook bacon crisp; drain.

5Add mushrooms, celery and onion to bacon drippings; cook about 10 minutes.

6Crumble bacon into bread mixture.

7Add vegetables with giblet broth.

8Stir and make moist stuffing.

9Makes enough for 10 to 20-pound turkey.
