- 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 4 peaches, peeled and diced
- 1/4 c. sugar (granulated)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Cream butter with brown sugar until light and fluffy.

2Beat in egg.

3Sift flour with soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating until smooth after each addition.

4Gently blend in peaches.

5Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

6Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
