  • 8 medium-size fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened

    Place peach slices in a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish.

    Set aside.

    Combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon in a medium bowl, stirring well.

    Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.

    Sprinkle flour mixture evenly over peaches.

    Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
