- 5 cups sliced peaches
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 dash salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pie shell unbaked, and top crust for pie
Directions

1Peel and slice peaches.

2Add sugar, flour, spice and salt. Mix lightly.

3Pour this into the unbaked pie shell and dot with butter.

4Top the pie with top crust and crimp the edges.

5Decorate top of pie with shapes and slits.

6Bake in 400 degrees oven for 40-45 minutes or until brown and bubbling through slits.

7Serve warm with ice cream or whipping cream.
