  • 3 c. quartered fresh plums
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. butter/oleo
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. flaky buttermilk biscuits
  • melted oleo/butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • sugar mixture

Directions

    Combine plums and pineapple tidbits in a 10-inch ovenproof baking dish.

    Mix sugar and cornstarch together and stir into fruit mixture.

    Dot with butter/oleo and bake in a 400° preheated oven and top with biscuits.

    Brush biscuits with melted butter/oleo and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

    Continue baking at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes longer.

    Serve warm.

    This is a great dish for brunch or can be topped with whipped cream or ice cream for dessert.
