  • 1 (12 ounce) package rice noodles
  • 16 rice paper sheets
  • 2 cups warm broth or 2 cups water, in shallow bowl
  • 16 slices lunch meat (turkey or beef)
  • 2 cups cleaned sliced shrimp, cooked
  • 1 12 cups shredded carrots
  • 2 cups steamed bean sprouts
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves

Directions

    Cook rice noodles by package directions and set aside.

    Lay sliced meat, shrimp, carrots, sprouts and leaves on plate in a buffet style.

    Take one wrapper and gently submerge into warm liquid for 1/2 minute to soften.

    Put a small amount of noodle and other items on the wrapper and fold.

    Do not overfill.

    Dip into peanut sauce or hot sauce.
