- 5 to 6 ears corn (white or yellow)
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. bacon fat or 1/2 stick butter or margarine or drippings from 2 slices fried salt pork
Directions

1Shuck the corn and remove the silks.

2Wash the corn and dry it with paper towels.

3Place the ears directly on the middle oven rack.

4Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

5Turn oven to broil and turn corn to brown all over, cooking about 15 minutes more.

6Serve with butter.
