  • 4 c. sliced apples, cored (peeled or unpeeled)
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg

    Add apples and toss to coat. Add water.

    Cover skillet and cook 8 to 10 minutes until tender, but firm.
