  • 2 bananas
  • water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons anise
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 eggs
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • honey

Directions

    Peel and chop bananas.

    Place bananas in a bowl and cover with boiling water and let stand for five minutes.

    Drain bananas.

    Mash bananas with sugar, cinnamon, anise, flour and well-beaten egg.

    Mix well until mixture is smooth.

    In a pan, heat plenty of olive oil.

    Drop tablespoons of batter into hot oil and fry until golden.

    Drain cooked fritters on paper towels.

    If desired, serve cold with honey.
