- 1 medium head green cabbage
- 4 strips bacon
- 3 Tbsp. sugar or to taste
- 1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Wash and cut cabbage into strips; set aside.

2Fry bacon in heavy pot.

3Add remaining ingredients and cover.

4After about 10 minutes, stir to mix in seasonings and coat cabbage with bacon fat.

5Cook, stirring occasionally, to desired crispness.
