- 1 small to medium onion, chopped
- 3 medium carrots, peeled and sliced thin
- 1/2 medium head cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. corn oil
- 3 Tbsp. oleo
Directions

1Warm corn oil and oleo in a heavy pan.

2Add onion, saute until onion is golden.

3Add sliced carrots, turn heat on low and let the carrots saute.

4Then add the cabbage, chopped in small pieces. Use only enough water to let them steam good.

5Cook on low until carrots and cabbage are tender.

6Let cook down low until the cabbage is very tender and begins to fry, just slightly.
