Fried Cabbage

- 6 slices bacon
- 1 medium head cabbage, cut into 1/8's
- 1 c. chopped onions (can also use green onions or even leeks)
Directions

1Steam the cabbage until tender, but not limp.

2Fry the bacon until crisp and set aside.

3Saut the onions in the bacon grease. Add the cabbage to the sauted onions; cover and cook until tender on medium heat.

4You may need to add a little water depending on the water content of the cabbage.

5Sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Enjoy!

6Serves approximately 8.
