- 1/2 head cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. bacon grease or margarine
- salt to taste
- 1/4 c. water (optional)
Directions

1Chop up 1/2 head of cabbage very fine.

2In a skillet or stew pan place either 2 tablespoons bacon grease or margarine and heat. Add chopped cabbage and salt to taste.

3Cover and simmer until tender.

4If store bought cabbage is used, add 1/4 cup water.

5If cabbage is homegrown, water will not be needed.
