Fried Cabbage

  • 1 small head cabbage
  • 4 strips bacon, cut up small
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. ham strips or smoked sausage
  • 1 Tbsp. red mango pepper, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • dash of garlic

Directions

    Fry bacon.

    When almost done crunchy, add onion, ham or sausage and mango pepper and fry a little.

    Add cabbage and fry all together; do not overcook.

    Add salt, pepper and garlic at the end.

    If bacon is too greasy, pour some grease out.
