- 1 head cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 ripe tomato
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- oil
- 1/2 c. hot water
Directions

1Shred cabbage and chop bell pepper, onion and ripe tomato. Mix together in large bowl.

2Sprinkle with salt, sugar and black pepper.

3Mix and refrigerate for one hour.

4Heat oil in large heavy skillet.

5Add vegetables and hot water.

6Stir well.

7Cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
