- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. shredded cabbage
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp in large skillet.

2Remove bacon and crumble for topping.

3Add onion, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper to bacon grease, stirring, until well blended.

4Stir in cabbage; cook over medium heat, uncovered, for 15 minutes.

5Stir occasionally. Sprinkle top with bacon after removed from grease.
