Fried Chicken - Dolly'S Style

  • 1 chicken, cut into serving pieces
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 pkg. Hidden Valley dressing mix
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions

    Soak chicken in salty water and refrigerate overnight.

    Drain well.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Dredge in flour.

    Place chicken into milk for 10 minutes. dredge in flour again. Then sprinkle on dressing mix. Place in hot oil (365° to 370°).

    Fry until golden brown.
