  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 4 eggs
  • oil for frying
  • sugar for dusting
  • ground cinnamon for dusting

Directions

    In a pot, bring to boil the water, butter, and salt.

    Then add the flour all at once, stirring quickly with a wooden spoon until well detached from the sides of the pan.

    Remove from heat, and let the dough cool down.

    Add the eggs one by one, mixing well.

    Once well mixed, roll the dough into a ball, and let rest.

    Heat a large amount of oil, and once it is boiling, lower the heat to medium/low, and fry the dough, pouring it in the pan by the spoonful.

    When the balls are golden on all sides, remove from pan, and place on paper towels to absorb grease.

    Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon.
