Ingredients
- 2 cans whole kernel corn
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. plain white flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Hormel real bacon bits
- 1 Tbsp. minced or chopped onions (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3 to 4 c. water
Directions

1In a heavy cast iron skillet put cooking oil.

2Pour corn in bowl and mix with flour, sugar and pepper.

3Pour ingredients into skillet that has been preheated with oil.

4Reduce heat to low and add about 1/2 of the water.

5Cover and cook slowly for 30 minutes or more, stirring occasionally.

6When corn begins to stick, add more water.

7When ready add butter and a few dashes of paprika and salt to taste.

8Serves 6 to 8.
