- 2 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Bring the water to a boil. Combine the corn meal, cold water, salt and sugar. Gradually add to boiling water. Cook until thick. Reduce heat, cover pan and cook 5 minutes.

2Stir often.

3Pour in loaf pan and cool.

4Slice and fry until crisp.
