- 2 1/2 c. boiling water in a saucepan
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Mix the 1 cup water and other ingredients into the boiling water, stir and boil until mixture thickens.

2Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

3Place in an oblong bread pan and refrigerate overnight.

4Slice 1/2-inch thick.

5Fry or deep fry until browned.
