- 4 pieces camembert cheese
- 2 teaspoons flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs dried
- 1 each eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 pinch cayenne pepper
Directions

1On a plate, combine flour, mustard, herbs and pepper.

2Dredge each piece of cheese thoroughly with mixture, then dip into egg.

3In small bowl, mix bread crumbs with chili powder and cayenne pepper.

4Coat dipped cheese portions in mixture, pressing on firmly with palms of hands.

5Half fill a deep-fat fryer or saucepan with oil.

6Heat.

7Fry cheese about 30 seconds or until golden brown.

8Drain on paper towels.

9Garnish with sage, rosemary and thyme sprigs, if desired, and serve at once.
