- vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. flour
- salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 5 to 6 drops hot pepper sauce
- freshly ground pepper
- 10 medium-size dill pickles, sliced
Directions

1In deep fat fryer, heat oil to 350°.

2In shallow bowl, combine egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce and 1 tablespoon flour.

3Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4In another bowl, combine remaining 2 cups flour with salt and pepper to taste.

5Dip pickle slices first into egg mixture and then into flour.

6Dip egg a second time and into flour again, two full turns each.

7Fry pickles until golden brown, drain on paper towels.

8Serve hot. Yield: 4 servings.
