- 1 lb. bacon
- 20 oz. frozen green beans or fresh green beans
- 1 large onion, diced
- salt
- pepper
- approximately 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Cut up bacon in pieces and fry.

2Drain off most of the grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon in skillet.

3Add green beans and diced onion.

4Let cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

5Add water and cover.

6Let simmer over low heat, about an hour, stirring about every 15 minutes.

7Remove lid and let brown a little before serving.

8Salt and pepper as desired.
