- 1 c. all purpose flour
- 4 to 6 green tomatoes, sliced 1/2 inch thick
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Directions

1Combine sugar and flour and spread on shallow plate; dip both sides of each tomato into mixture.

2Combine egg and milk; dip each tomato slice into liquid mixture.

3Dip each tomato slice into dry bread crumbs.

4Fry in the oil until brown on each side.
