- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 to 4 green tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- cooking oil
Directions

1Combine flour, cornmeal, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt and pepper.

2Coat tomato slices with flour mixture.

3In a skillet, heat oil over medium.

4Fry tomatoes for 2 to 3 minutes per side until tender and lightly browned.
