- Morels (fresh)
- Butter
- Salt
- Flour
- Salted water
Directions

1-Fill a large bowl or sink with water just warm enough to dissolve salt.

2-Add 1 to 2 cups salt to water and dissolve

3-Brush dirt off morels and trim stems
-
4-Add morels to water and soak briefly. Ideally, this should drive any bugs from the crevices. Do not leave morels long enough to become waterlogged

5-Remove morels from water and slice in half
-
6-Melt butter in large pan for frying
-
7-Dredge halved morels in lightly salted flour
-
8-Fry in butter until browned, remove to paper towel-lined plate
-
9-Serve hot
