- 2 pint Oysters, shucked and drained
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup Cake Flour
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp. each, Salt and Pepper
- 1 Bread crumbs
Directions

1Mix ingredients except Bread crumbs.

2Add Oysters and mix.

3Let stand 10 min.

4Place crumbs on plate.

5Shake off excess egg mix on oyster, place in crumbs, gently coat both sides.

6Remove to plate.

7Repeat.

8Refrigerate for 1/2 hr.

9Deep fry at 350 for about 3 min.

10in batches.

11DO NOT CROWD FRYER.

12Drain in basket, drain on towels twice.

13Remove to plate.

14Serve immediately.
