- 2 c. flour
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. lard (warm)
- 6 Tbsp. canned milk
Directions

1Mix flour and dry ingredients.

2Beat eggs.

3Add lard to dry ingredients. Mix well to make a soft dough.

4Let set in refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.

5Roll out to 1/4-inch thick.

6Cut in 4 to 5 rounds and put in filling on half and wet edge with milk.

7Fold the other half over and press with fork. Fry in 400° shortening until brown on both sides. Makes 12 to 14 pies.
