- 3 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup vegetable shortening or butter
- 1 large eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
Directions

1Combine flour and salt, cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.

2Combine egg and water, sprinkle over flour mixture.

3Add vinegar, and lightly stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened.

4Shape into a ball.

5Wrap pastry in waxed dozen 5-inch pies.
