- 3 green plantains, each peeled and cut into 3 pieces
- 2 to 3 cups vegetable or peanut oil
- Salt
Directions

1In skillet, heat oil to 350 degrees F. Fry plantain, turning until all sides are lightly golden.

2Remove from skillet and place between 2 pieces of paper towel and press to flatten.

3Return to skillet and continue to fry until crisp.

4Remove and salt lightly.
