- 4 cup vegetable oil
- 8 pork chops about 1 inch thick
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 tsp pepper
- 3 tsp garlic powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch celery seeds
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
Directions

1heat oil in a deep skillet to 350F

2season pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne and celery seeds

3pour over milk to coat both sides

4place flour in a shallow dish.

5dip pork chops into flour and coat well

6using tongs, gently lower chops into skillet.

7fry 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.

8transfer chops to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

9serve hot
