"Fried" Potatoes

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. chives
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

    Scrub potatoes well, leaving skin on; cut lengthwise into strips.

    Combine oil and seasonings in a plastic bag.

    Add potatoes, a few at a time and shake well to coat.

    Spread strips on two cookie sheets in a single layer.

    Bake at 400° for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
