Fried Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3-4 potatoes
  • 1/4 c. oil, approximately
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, unsliced (sliced, canned mushrooms can be substituted, if need be)
  • 1/4 c. hulled sunflower seeds
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Heat oil, add in potatoes which have been washed and thinly sliced.

    Cook for 10-15 min, then add in mushrooms, onions, garlic, and sunflower seeds.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Cover and cook till done, uncover and brown.

    *This is a vegetarian dish I first tried at the Uptown Cafe in Bloomington, IN.
