- 4 large quail
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Shake birds in bag in mixture of flour, salt, garlic and pepper.

2Heat a frying pan half filled with oil.

3Brown quail on both sides.

4Cover skillet and reduce heat.

5Cook slowly until tender, about 30 minutes, turning once or twice to brown evenly. Serves 4.
