- 2/3 c. uncooked rice
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 stalks celery sliced
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. beef or chicken bouillon
- 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 medium green pepper chopped
Directions

1In large skillet, cook and stir rice, onion and celery in oil over medium heat until rice is golden brown and onion is tender. Add other ingredients except green pepper.

2Reduce heat.

3Simmer 18-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until rice is tender.

4Stir in green pepper.

5Simmer 10 minutes longer.
