  • 5 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. rice
  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped onion

Directions

    Boil water.

    Add rice. Boil 15 minutes.

    Rinse in cold water and drain. In frying pan, combine oil, soy sauce, sugar and onion.

    Simmer 1/2 hour.
