Ingredients
- 50 ml oil
- 1 medium sliced onion
- 10 cardamon
- 2-inch cinnamon
- 10 cloves
- 1 hot pepper, cut in middle
- 1/4 c. coriander leaves
- 1/4 c. minced leaves
- 2 c. rice
- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp. ginger paste
- 1 tsp. garlic paste
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. salt or to taste
Directions

1In 6-quart pan on a medium stove, pour oil.

2Add cardamon, cinnamon and the cloves.

3When spicy smells come, add onion and hot pepper.

4When onion gets light brown, add ginger and garlic pastes, turmeric powder and salt.

5After a few minutes, add water.

6Allow the water to boil.

7Add the coriander leaves, minced leaves and the rice.

8Mix and cover for 7 minutes.

9Mix again and put in preheated 300° oven for 10 minutes.

10Remove from oven and remove all the cardamon, cinnamon, cloves and hot pepper.

11Transfer to serving dish.

12If you like, garnish with cashew nuts and fried onions and serve it hot.
