- 1 1/2 c. rice
- 2 medium onions
- 1 medium sweet pepper
- 1 medium hot pepper
- 1 medium head cabbage, cut up
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 lb. ground beef
Directions

1Fry rice, onions and pepper in small amount of shortening until it is brown, then add cabbage; cover it with water and add beef and salt to taste.

2Add tomato paste.

3Let simmer for about 30 to 35 minutes, then serve.
