- 1 c. corn meal
- 3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. seasoned salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 c. squash or okra, sliced
Directions

1Mix corn meal, self-rising flour, cornstarch and seasoned salt in gallon size Ziploc bag.

2Place sliced okra or squash in bowl. Beat water and egg together.

3Pour over vegetables.

4Mix. Drain. Put vegetables in bag and shake well.

5Drop in hot vegetable oil. Fry until golden brown.
