- 1/2 cup buttermilk
Directions

1Heat your oil to 360.

2Whip your egg and add in your buttermilk.

3(this is a good place to add salt)

4Dredge the squid through the egg and buttermilk and then through the bread crumbs.

5I usually do this twice with a final pass through flour.

6Fry until golden.
